Pop singer, guitarist and drummer.

Born on 4 August 1961, Veselin Marinov began music studies in the seventh grade.

In 1981, he was invited to become the lead singer of the “Impulse” rock band. His first appearance on stage as part of the band was on 2 December 1981.

In 1983, Marinov entered the Pop Music Department of the National Music Academy (the class of Professor Petar Dimitrov).

In 1984, he underwent two operations on the vocal cords and left “Impulse”.

In 1988, his first album “From Love” was released.

Between 1988 and 1990, Veselin lived in Germany, where he released the albums “Songs About Love” and “Language of Tears”.

Returning to Bulgaria, he took part in the contest “Golden Orpheus” and won Grand Prix.

In 1995, he released the album “Bitter Wine”. The title song of the album was recognized the “Melody of the Year” in Bulgaria.

In 1998, Marinov recorded the album “Trifon Zarezan”, followed by “Wine and Love” (1999), “Wine of Love” (2000), “My Crazy Love” (2001), “My Songs” (2002), “Fire of Love”, “Christmas Dream” (2003), “I Were Loved For You” (2004), “Convicted of Happiness” (2005), “My Life” (2006), “Wake Up To Me – Love Ballads” (2007), “Pretty Woman” (2008), “Another Beautiful Day”, “The Dearest Gift in the World” (2010).

In 2011, he released the album “Bitter Love” in Russian, and also recorded the anniversary “Veselin Marinov – 30 years on stage” with 50 best songs from his repertoire. One of them, “Our Police”, is an unofficial anthem of the Ministry of Interior of Bulgaria.

In 2012, he recorded the album “A Man of 50”, followed by “Nostalgia” (2013), “The Island of Love” (2014).

In 2016, the singer presented his anniversary show “35 Years on Stage” in the sports and concert complex “Armeets” (Sofia, Bulgaria), performed in 50 cities of the country with the program “Golden Hits”, released the eponymous anniversary collection with 68 songs on three audio and one video discs.

In 2018, he recorded the album “Imagine...”.

In addition to pop songs, Veselin Marinov has his own folk songs “The Sun Comes” (album “Bitter Wine”), “The Song I Want” (album “Convicted of Happiness”), “First Youth”, “Pretty Woman” and others.
