Monika was born on 9 September 1995.
She finished piano and vocal studies at music school, graduated from the Faculty of Jazz and Pop Singing of Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas.
The singer is a prizewinner of the international competitions and festivals such as “Berlin Pearl” (I Prize, Germany, 2007), “Junior Eurovision” (Cyprus, 2008), “Sochi Star” (I Prize, Russia, 2009), VII International Festival “Moscow Meets Friends” (Russia, 2010), “Youth Festival” (Switzerland, 2012), “The Youth Delphic Games” (gold medal, Russia, 2015).
In 2010, she sang a duet with the Belarusian group “Pesnyary” at the concert dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
In 2012, Monika performed at concerts in Belgium, France and Switzerland.
In 2013, she took part in the concert by composer Robert Amirkhanyan (Rome, Italy) and a youth concert (Los Angeles, America).
In 2014, she gave nine concerts with KOHAR Symphony Orchestra, performed on tour in Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
In 2015, the singer presented a concert program “Remember and demand” with KOHAR Symphony Orchestra dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide (Beirut, Lebanon).
In 2017, Monika took part in a cycle of concerts by Robert Amirkhanyan and Tigran Mansuryan (Rome, Italy).
In 2018, she performed at the Eurovision Song Contest as a backing singer of Armenian representative Sevak Khanagyan (Lisbon, Portugal).
