MiLissa

MiLissa was born in Narva on 10 January 2001.

Aged four, she entered the Narva Choir School. The singer started studying academic singing under the coach Rena Bykova at the age of seven, and practicing pop singing under the guidance of Alla Yakubova at the age of eleven.

MiLissa frequently gives solo concerts as well as performs as part of the vocal ensemble “Yakub-band-A”.

She is a prizewinner of national and international singing contests and festivals such as “Golden Talents of Golden Prague” (2014, Czech Republic, First Prize), “Riga Symphony” (2014, Latvia, Bronze Medal), “Noor Laulusolist” (2014, 2016, Estonia, First Prize), “Narva Jazz” (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, Estonia), “Baltic Voice” (2015, Latvia), “Spring Fiesta” (2016, Lithuania), “New Names” (2017, Estonia, “Best vocal” Prize), “Magic World of Backstage” (2017, Russia, Second Prize); “Bridge of Friendship” (2017, Russia), “Solistica” (2018, Estonia), “BRAVO” (Estonia), “Christmas Angel” (2018, Russia, First Prize), “J & M Voices” (2019, Russia, Second Prize).

He repertoire includes pop, ethno, musical, jazz, rock, r&b compositions.

She tries her hand at songwriting and writes lyrics in English.

In 2019, her first song “That girl is blue” was recorded.

“Music has been in my soul since I was a child. And I’m very happy about it. My soul can’t stop singing,” says Alicia.

Her favorite singer is Beyonce.
