Grand Prix winner of XXII International Pop Song Performers Contest “Vitebsk-2013”, popular singer

Michal was born in Ostrow Wielkopolski on 9 December 1987, into a family of musicians.

He graduated from the Department of Composition, Interpretation, Education and Jazz of the Music Academy of Karol Szymanowski in Katowice (Poland).

In 2008, the singer won Grand Prix of the National Festival of Movie Song “Soundtrack” in Łomża (Poland).

In 2010, Michal received a prize of the “Heartbeat “National Festival in Memory of Andrzej Zaucha. The singer has been as a jury member of the festival since its first edition. He regularly gives solo performances in the concerts in remembrance of Andrzej Zaucha who influenced the jazz and pop music culture of Poland.

In 2012, he was awarded Grand Prix of the Marek Grechuta National Festival in Slawno (Poland).

In 2013, Michał Kaczmarek released a CD “Brand New Man” with his own compositions. That same year he performed in Poland to the accompaniment of the Royal Symphony Orchestra, became a soloist of the project “Freddie Mercury Rock Opera” (Poland). He also won the All-Polish Song Festival (Sosnowiec), the Drama Song Competition (Koszalin) and appeared in the project “British Rock Symphony”.

In 2014, the singer was a prizewinner of the “Superdebut” festival in Opole (Poland). He took part in concerts with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

In 2015, Michał created a jazz project with “Modern Symphony Orchestra”, received the award “Radio Zet Gold”. He was given a certificate of the Polish Copyright Committee at the All-Polish festival in Wyszków.

Michał Kaczmarek is a recepient of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage “Młoda Polska”.

In 2016, he performed in the framework of the all-Polish concert tour “Disney Songs”, and won Grand Prix of the George Gershwin Festival of Songs from Musicals (Warsaw).

In 2017, Michał performed as part of the concert tour “George Michael”, became the winner of the XV Anniversary Music Festival after Bogusław Klimczuk (Kozienice, Poland). He performed with Boris Myagkov's big band at the Baltic Tango Festival (Lithuania) and took part in the all-Polish concert tour “Christmas Songs of the World”.
