Marjia was born on 24 November 2006.

She’s in her sixth year of studies at secondary school and fifth year of piano studies at music school.

She is a graduate of “Pumpurini” Performing Arts School.

Marjia is the I Prize winner of the of the city school contest “Minute of Glory”.

She takes part in commercial and charity concert programs.

In 2014, she performed at the Festival of Friendship in Dusseldorf (Germany).

Marija Melnikova is a multiple prizewinner of national and international contests and festivals, including “TV Start” (Grand Prix, Turkey), “Riga Symphony” (I, II and III Prizes), “High Note” (I Prize, Latvia), “Daugavas Perle”, (I Prize, Latvia); “Art Master” (I Prize, Latvia), “Eurojurmala” (Latvia), “Europstage” (Latvia); “Talento Muzikos Lyga” (Lithuania), “Star Flowers” (Belarus), “Little Shels” (Serbia).

She performed in the semifinals of the TV project “Balss pavelnieks” (Latvia) and took part in the National TV project “The Voice. Kids”.

Marjia showed her singing skills during the anniversary concert of the show group “Neposedy” in the Kremlin Palace and the Concern Hall “Russia”.

In 2019, she successfully performed at the show programs festival “Voda Contest” (Latvia).

Her way to participate in the International Children Music Contest “Vitebsk” wasn’t an easy one. She tried to enter the contest several times and it was only her fifth attempt that was crowned with success.
