Jordan Slavejkov was born in the city of Vrasta on 2 September 1976.
In 2006, he graduated as theater director from “Krustyo Sarafov” National Academy of Theater and Film Arts (Sofia, Bulgaria, pedagogue: Krikor Azaryan).
In 2007, he won the “Debut” nomination for the production of the graduation play “Oscar and the Lady in Pink” based on the work by the French writer and playwright Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
The play “Spider”, co-written and co-staged with Dimitar Kasabov, was shown in the theatres of Moscow and St. Petersburg. “Spider” was also enthusiastically received in New York, which was proved by rave reviews in the New York Times and Village Voice.
Jordan studied acting in Moscow and New York.
He starred in the films “Zift” (2008) and “Love. No” (2011).
In 2013, Jordan Slavejkov took part in the Belarusian-Bulgarian project. Together with Director Dimitar Dimitrov, he staged the play “The House of Bernarda Alba” based on the play by the Spanish dramatist Federico Garcia Lorca at the National Academic Drama Theater named after Yakub Kolas (Vitebsk).
In 2015, he made his debut as a writer. The first book was the novel “The Last Step”.
In 2018, he joined the team of screenwriters for the national TV project “Manuscript”.
