Irina Bilyk was born in Kiev.

In 1991, she signed a contract with the “Rostislav Show” agency, and became a prizewinner of the International Festival “Singing Vernissage. New Ukrainian Wave”.

In 1993, Irina graduated from the pop-vocal department of the Gliere Kiev State Music College, and later, the department of variety and mass events at the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts.

In 1994, she made her debut as a host of “New Year’s Eve” TV show.

In 1995, she participated in the concert tour “Nova” and gave her first solo show in the National Palace “Ukraine”.

In 1996, 1997, 1998, she was given the “Golden Firebird” Award in the nominations “Singer of the Year” and “Album of the Year”.

In 2000, Bilyk won the “Best Singer”, “Best Album” and “Best Video” at the “NOVA records awards” ceremony.

In 2002, she was a winner in the nomination “Discovery of the Year” at the festival “Yach Film” (Poland).

In 2004, she released her first album “Love. Poison” in Russian, which became platinum within ten days. The album sales exceed 100 000 copies.
In 2008, she presented a concert show “20 Years Together”.

In 2011, she was invited to join the jury of the “Star Factory -4” TV project, was recognized as the “Best Performer of the past 20 years” by the national music award YUNA.
In 2012, Irina’s song “Snow” performed by Philip Kirkorov was awarded the “Golden Gramophone” (Moscow) and following the results of the audience voting of the TV show “Heritage of the Republic” was announced the best song by Philip Kirkorov in his career.

In 2013, she was on All-Ukrainian tour “Best Ukrainian Hits” with the group “TIK”. 24 concerts were given within a month’s period, and the participants of the tour were included into the Ukrainian Book of Records for the “biggest number of concerts”.

In 2015, she presented her solo programs “About Love” and “Bilyk”. Summer. Dance!” in Kiev.

In 2018, she was on tour “Without Makeup. The Best. About Love”, giving 37 concerts in 35 cities of Ukraine over two months and closing her tour with three performances in the “Ukraine” Palace.

The singer starred in the films “Sorochinskaya Fair” (2004), “Star Vacation” (2006), “A Very New Year Movie, or A Night at the Museum" (2007).

Irina Bilyk took part in the first edition of the music festival “Slavianski Bazaar” in 1992. In 1993 and 1995, she participated in “Slavianski Bazaar” as part of the group “This rain is for long”. In 2007, she appeared in the gala concert of masters of arts of Ukraine “Kupalie”. In 2012, she performed in the Opening Ceremony of the International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” in the Summer Amphitheatre, the gala concert of masters of arts of Ukraine “Constellation of Ukraine”, and the night concert “Songs of Summer”. In 2014, she was on the International Jury of the XXIII International Pop Song Performers Contest “Vitebsk”.
