Francesca Maria Galea was born on 18 April, 1992.

She began to study piano at the age of five under her mother’s guidance.

She moved to the UK at the age of 18 and studied singing at the Academy of Contemporary Music (London) for two years.

Her creativity was influenced by Prince, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and “Queen”.

She is the author of songs performed by professional singers all over the world.

Her repertoire includes songs of her own composition.

According to the results of the national radio charts, she was nominated for the Malta Music Award.

In 2018, the song “Rise” got into the semi-finals of the British song contest twice.

In 2018, she took part in the program “Prime Time” with the song “All Together Now” (BBC) where she won the third place and was supported by BBC Introduction that included her songs in the national radio program.

CHESS performed in New York (USA), Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and the United Kingdom.

In 2019, she is working on a cycle of songs “Maturation”.
