Staffan Olsson was born in Saro, near Gothenburg, on 21 February 1969.
Aged six, he took part in the children Christmas festival “Lucia”.
The first band Bosson joined was “Elevate”. The musicians quickly gained popularity and their great success at the national music competition gave them an opportunity to record singles in “Jam Lab Studios”, which was followed by a concert tour across Europe.
In 1996, Staffan chose to leave the band to pursue a solo career. He recorded “Baby, Don’t Cry”, which scored highest ever position in dance charts in Sweden and other European countries in1997. The popularity of the song led to the release of the debut album “The Right Time” in 1999.
In 2000, the singer teamed up with Britney Spears for a joint tour across the United States.
In 2001, he released the album “One In a Million”. Its title song became the main theme of the movie “Miss Congeniality”.
The song “One In a Million” got in top ten world and European charts and was nominated for the “Golden Globe”.
In Russia Bosson first gave a concert and promo tour of his new album “Rockstar” in 2003. He also took part in TV and radio shows.
In 2004, he appeared at the festival “Mega-Dance Energy” in “Luzhniki”, was on tour in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and the Baltics.
In 2005, his album “BOSSON. The Best” was released in Russia.
He recorded the song “Heaven In the Eyes” in Russian with the singer Lolita Milyavskaya.
In 2007, the singer presented his fourth album “Future’s Gone Tomorrow, Life Is Here Today”.
In 2010, with the company “Universal” he released a charity album “The Best CD/DVD” in support of children with leukemia.
In 2013, Bosson released the fifth album “Best of 11-Twelve” with the best songs of 2011- 2012.
In 2018, he released the first over the past 16 years single in his native language “Vi borde andas samma luft.”
Bosson has been the participant of the International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” since 2007.
In 2015, he was on the International jury of the XXIV International Pop Song Performers Contest “Vitebsk”.
