Archili Purtseladze was born on 5 December 1979.
His stage name ACHI means Man of Luck.
In 1993, he graduated from the Music School for Gifted Children at the V. Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
In 1994, Achi took first place at the International Festival of Youth Theater Companies (Moscow, Russia) and gave his first solo concert in the Tbilisi Philharmonic Concert Hall.
In 1995, the singer was awarded the “Best Instrumentalist” (saxophone) prize at the Youth Music Festival of Georgia.
In 1996, he completed his studies at the drama school under the direction of Giga Lortkipanidze (plastic arts, pantomime).
In 2001, Achi graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Gr. Robakidze University. For two years he received scholarship of the President of Georgia.
The singer worked as a radio host of a program for kids on the Central Radio of Georgia (1994 – 1997), a DJ on the radio station “Fortuna” (1998 – 2005), and a presenter of the night show on TV 5 (2002 – 2003).
In 2001 and 2002, he won the “Best Radio Host of the Year” Award.
In 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004, he was awarded the “Best Master of Ceremonies of the Year”.
In 2006, he moved to Moscow.
Until 2012, Achi gave solo performances and pursued his career of a concert host.
In 2012, he took part in the “The Voice” project, was a co-host of the show “Good morning, America!” on “Comedy Club” radio.
In 2012, he began taking part in music festivals and competitions as a jury member.
In 2015, he appeared in the project “The Main Stage” on the “Russia” TV channel.
Achi is the participant of the Russian talk shows “Let Them Talk”, “He and She”, “Fashion verdict”, “Two stars”, “Guess the melody”, “Evening Urgant” and others.
In 2016, Achi and Gagik Ezakyan sang a duet the hit “Eternal debate” to the 40th anniversary of the iconic Soviet film “MIMINO” (directed by Georgiy Danelia).
In 2017, he went on concert tour to the CIS countries and Europe.
