Liliya VELTMAN

Born into a family of professional musicians on February 13, 1994 in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, at present, Liliya studies at Moscow Institute of Modern Art (‘Musical Variety Art’ and ‘Pop-jazz vocal’ departments).

When a child she used to sing along to Mariah Carey, Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, Alla Pugacheva and Beyoncé’s recordings.

Liliya has been in for vocal for 19 years, 10 out of which she masters jazz.

She graduated with honors from a music school (piano and jazz vocal).

Liliya has been a Laureate, a winner and the Grand Prix holder of numerous regional, national and international vocal competitions, among which are the "Golden Bee" Festival (Klimovichi, Belarus), the "Preobrazhenie" Contest (St. Petersburg, Russia), the "Road to Success" Festival (Kazan, Russia), "The Star gate" Festival (Vladimir, Russia), the "OPUS" Festival (Spain).

In 2011, she was awarded with the special prize of the Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin, supporting talented youth within the framework of the national project "Education"

Liliya is a Jury Panel Member of the International Contest "Preobrazhenie" (St. Petersburg, Russia) and fruitfully cooperates with orchestras, cover bands and jazz bands.

In 2014, she was the main musical headliner of the Olympic and Paralympic fire torch relay in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia).

In 2015, Liliya gave birth to her son, Mark.

Currently, she is busy getting ready for her solo album release.
