Egor SHARANKOV

Egor was born in Svetlogorsk, Gomel region, on 31 July, 1997.

Currently, he is a soloist of the National Academic Concert Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus led by Mikhail Finberg.

The young singer began his music studies at the age of seven. He performed as part of the folk music studio "Lyre" led by N. Lantseva.

In 2011, Egor graduated from the instrumental department of the Svetlogorsk Children School of Arts.

In 2014, he entered the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts (Faculty of Music Arts, speciality "variety art", professor T. Ligorskaya).

Egor Sharankov is a participant of the TV project "Voice of the Country -7" (Ukraine) and finalist of the Belarusian national selections for "Junior Eurovision" Song Contest (2010, 2012).

In 2013, he won Grand Prix of the international competitions "Land Under White Wings" (Mozyr, Belarus), "Golden Bee" (Klimovichi, Belarus).

In 2014, he was a prize-winner of the Republican contest "BeLazovski Akkord" (Zhodino, Belarus). That same year he was awarded a Prize of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for support of talented youth.

Sharankov is a finalist of the Belarusian national selection round for "Eurovision" Song Contest (2016), finalist of M. Aleynikov’s project "Icon of Stage" and participant of TV projects "Singing Cities -1" and "Star Ring".
