Book of Festival Records

The photosprint “10х100 PHOTOS”, taking place in Mayakovsky Square on July 16, carried back to the Opening Ceremony of the XXVI International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".

The project goal set for ten photographers from Vitebsk was to go along the festival city, and make a hundred shots and afterwards present ten photos reflecting the events of the first festival day.

The 11 Vitebsk photographers - Alexey Karasev, Inga Makeeva, Vladimir Ogrizko, Olga Timoshenko (photographer, director of the copy center “ Coler”, the main sponsor of the project), Ales Piletsky, Mikhail Mikhailov, Vadim Grikshta, Viktor Nikolaev, Victoria Zaitova, Christina Shcheglova, Vyacheslav Dekterov took the challenge.
The result of their day-long work was a photo exposition (photo sharing project) of one hundred photos.

A new record is set up at the XXVI International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”. A spoon. A large wooden spoon, as a symbol of festival hospitality, was presented to the public at the grounds of the Concert Hall "Vitebsk". It was made by two friends: Mikhail Zenkov, a master of artistic woodworking from the village of Ruba, and Virgilijus Vaičiūnas, a sculptor, a participant of the famous Lithuanian festival-fair “Kazukas Muge” from Palanga. For three days they masterfully worked with saws over a meter-wide aspen log, brought from the Vitebsk forestry.
