Niki TANEV

Niki was born in Sofia on 12 February 2001.

At the age of four he began to study at the “New Voices” school (Targovishte).

Aged six, he became a soloist of the “Children’s laughter” group under Desislav Stankov.

In 2008, Niki was awarded Grand Prix of the IX International Festival “Friends of Bulgaria” (Varna). He sang with Bedros Kirkorov.

In 2011, the singer performed in the finals of the national selections for Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

In 2014, he took part in the finals of the “High Hopes” national TV contest.

In 2015, Niki Tanev entered the National music school “Lyubomir Pipkov” (class by Neli Marinkova).

He organized a pop-jazz band and performed together with the popular Bulgarian singers.

Niki is a participant of contests, festivals and concerts in Italy, Spain, Denmark, Russia, Israel and other countries.

In 2016, he became a prizewinner of the international singing contests “Red Sea Joy” (Israel) and “Chance” (Denmark).

In 2017, he came first in the International Contest “River Notes” (Tutrakan, Bulgaria).

In 2018, the singer won first place at the International Festival of Arts “Magia Italiana” (Italy).

Niki Tanev is a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria.

He was awarded a merit certificate from the Mayor of Targovishte for his contribution in the arts.
