Lidia ISAC

Lidia was born in Saint Petersburg (Russia) on 27 March 1993.

Aged 7, she started piano studies at “Maria Biesu” Music School in Chisinau.

At the age of 13 she began to perform the songs from the repertoire of Edith Piaf at school concerts.

Later, the songs performed by Lydia Isak often topped the national radio charts in Moldova. One of them was composed by the Grammy nominees Bridget Benenate, Niklas Pettersson and Michael Albertsson.

In 2016, Lidia represented Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with the song “Falling Stars”.

In 2017, she participated in the vocal show “The Voice” (France) as part of Florent Pagny team.

In the same year she took part in the TV show “The Voice” (Romania), where all four mentors turned to her.

In 2018, Lidia was awarded the prize of Public radio and television at the International Festival “Golden Stag” (Romania).

She is currently working on her first solo album.
