Member of the Jury of the XXIV International Pop Song Performers Contest “Vitebsk-2015”

The singer’s real name is Staffan Ollson. He was born on February 21, 1969,  in the town of Saro near Gothenburg (Sweden).

He took part in the children’s Christmas festival “Lucia” at the age of six.

The first band which Bosson joined was “Elevate”. Its popularity grew quite quickly and, having won the national music contest, the band obtained the right to record singles at the “Jam Lab Studios”. After that the musicians went on a tour around Europe.

In 1996, Staffan, whose dream was to build a solo carrier, left the band. He recorded a song “Baby Don’t Cry” which was on the top of dance charts in 1997 in Sweden and other European countries. The popularity of this song led to the release of the debut album “The Right Time” in 1999.

In 2000, Bosson together with Britney Spears went on tour around the USA.

In the spring of 2001, Bosson performed on the same stage with Kylie Minogue, Lenny Kravitz, Jessica Simpson, N`Sync, Westlife. He recorded the song “Never, Never, Never” in cooperation with Al Di Meola.

In 2001, the album “One In A Million” named after the leading track was released, which later became the theme song of the film “Miss Congeniality”.

The song “One in a million” was included in the “top ten” of the world and European charts and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award.

The first time when Bosson gave a concert and promoted his new album “Rockstar” in Russia was in 2003. He also took part in various TV- and radio shows.

In February 2004, Bosson performed at the “Megadance Energy” festival in Luzhniki. During that year he toured around Russia, Kazakhstan, the Ukraine and the Baltic states.

The album “BOSSON. The Best” was released in 2005 in Russia.

In 2007 and 2008, the singer again toured around Russia, the Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Together with Lolita Miliavskaya, Bosson recorded a song “The Sky in the Eyes” in Russian.

In 2007, he released his fourth album “Future’s Gone Tomorrow, Life Is Here Today”.

From 2008 in between tours the singer worked on a new Club Dance album in London and New York studios.

In 2010, Bosson released the charity album “The Best CD/DV” in collaboration with the “Universal” company to support children suffering from leukemia.

In 2013,  he released his fifth album “Best Of 11-Twelve” which included the best songs of 2011 and 2012.

In December of 2013, Bosson took part in the Ukrainian musical show “X Factor”.

For the first time he took part in the International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” in 2007.

Bosson will perform in the concert “Golden Hit: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” (01.30, night July 10-11, Summer Amphitheatre), the Concert of the XXIV International Pop Song Performers Contest “VITEBSK-2015” (22.00, July 12, Summer Amphitheatre) and in the Closing Ceremony of the Festival (22.00, July 13, Summer Amphitheatre).
